Start Incorporating Self Care In Your Life.
Practicing self care doesn't have to be complicated. Most often when we think of self care, the first thing that pops to our mind is therapy and counseling. In reality, most self care methods can be done for free, while there are others that come with a price tag. Whether you are spending money or not, what is being invested here is TIME. Most often we say we don't provide ourselves with self care because we are too busy. But yet we have so much free time that we don't know how to use it. When you choose to invest in your self-care, you are investing in your happiness and your wellbeing. Self care is really easy, we just make it seem harder than it is. If you can give yourselves at least 10 minutes out of the 24 hours we have in a day, to really manage your stress and relax, then you will be on your way to practicing self care. So spend some of your time doing things that make you feel good.
Self care does not look the same for everyone. Each person is different and unique. Ones might enjoy quiet meditation while others want to blast their earphones loud. So remember choose what you enjoy because this is all about caring for YOU. Self care doesn't take a lot of your time (I will continue repeating this until you understand). Some people have more time to spare so they end up going to gym class, but in reality more people do between 5 to 15 minute of self care, such as breathing, eating a snack, or getting a drink of water. If you are aware that you are doing it for you and it makes you feel great then you can get your routine started.

Remember to ask yourself: What have I done for myself today?

We need to practice daily self care, in order to make ourselves feel better mentally and physically, and to live happier. You can make a list of self care activities that you want to follow routinely. Follow up with them once a week or everyday, and remember to be aware of little things you are doing for yourself. Here are some examples to get you started.
