I would like to emphasize on the Center for Well-Being at SDSU because it's all about self care. It is a room that has been set apart for students, teachers, parents and where one can go practice their self care. The Center comes with massage chairs, a chalkboard where one can draw, an egg chair that is connected to nature music, a meditation corner, Biofeedback therapy (technique used to learn to control body's response, i.e. heart rate), books and magazine shelf, and a mini waterfall fountain. No appointments are necessary. If you are ever at the SDSU campus and you feel that you need some self care time, but haven't found a peaceful place, then this is the place to come.
Sit down and relax. |
